Meringues in the Park

On a sunny day in August 2011 I went to the Tsaritsyno Park in Moscow for a stroll in the sunshine. To my surprise, I discovered that it was a popular place for newly-weds to come and have photographs taken after the wedding ceremony. There were some spectacular wedding dresses. Suddenly I found that I was taking pictures of 'Meringues in the Park'.

If you happened to get married in Moscow on 27 August 2011, and went to Tsaritsyno, I hope you're still happy; and that you haven't lost your sense of humour...

Here comes the Bride...

Blue is the Colour

"Hands off! He's mine!"

"Now, first of all, the kitchen
needs decorating, then..."

"We can't let him see her like this!"

"Come on! We're late!"

"The veil! Mind the bloody veil!!!"

"That reminds me...we must buy
some net curtains..."

"Ooohhh, I rather fancy the guy over there..."

"Ooooohhhh. My feet are killing me..."

"And just wait until you see what's under this train..."

"Would...you...get...out...of...MY...wedding...photo?!"

"Er...fancy a dip, love?"

"So where is everyone?... Have I got the right day?...
I can't even see the bride and groom..."

"Are you still alive?!"

"Yeah, OK, so I'm a meringue. Get over it."

"Er...one of us is in the wrong photo..."

"Has anyone seen the owner of these?"

"WHOOPPEEEEE!!!"

Quiet moment

It's been a long day...

And they drove off into the sunset,
to live happily ever after...?
